Some common FAQ’s (fairy asked questions) are:

How do I clean a Fairy Finery dress or cape?

We recommend hand or delicate cold wash – inside out and preferably in a lingerie bag. Hang dry, tumble cool to remove wrinkles. Boa should fluff out by shaking or gentle brushing.  Garments may also be dry cleaned.

How do I clean my felt hats or tabards after a messy adventure?

Start with cold water spot cleaning, move on to dry cleaning (best) or hand cold wash and line dry. Iron as needed on reverse side - medium heat. Felt swords can be spot cleaned.

How are the petals put in the skirts?

Flower dresses and flower skirts have a secret opening in the center back seam on the inside. This is where the pixies put the petals in!

When hand washing the flower tulle dress the petals will stay fresher if removed and put back in after cleaning.

Just shake the petals to the back of the skirt, reach in and remove– store in a bag until ready to put back in. We recommend spot cleaning on tulle and tutu skirts.

Due to the delicate nature of the tulle, care should be taken when flitting about because tulle can tear when caught.

 My woodsman feather was stolen by a troll. Where can I find one?
